The sun shone bright to light up the second year of Get Lucky Art Show on February 18, 2018, welcoming over 1,000 visitors who came to check out 170 pieces of lucky envelope art on display from 35 local artists. Our talent lineup this year was impressive (meet our artists here).
Super popular additions this year included a first-time exhibition for Chinatown Tales (a series of illustrations by Chairman Ting), a sold-out homemade dumpling bar (900 dumplings crushed in 2.5 hours!) by Dickson Li, and our sweet local vendors in the pop-up bazaar, Cookies Fortune, East Van Bees, and Vancity Original.
A special double lion dance came through to bestow upon us new year blessings (thanks to Mah Benevolent Society of Vancouver.) And it’s always exciting to watch those feeling lucky try to win prizes from a giant, interactive wall of fantastic items (winners announced below!)
