Vancouver is recognized as an hotbed of the beloved art form of tap. This year, the Vancouver International Tap Festival is celebrating their 15th anniversary from August 28 to 31. The organizers have lined up more than 20 tap masters as faculty and mentors, and are staging seven world-class presentations. Tickets range from $23-$38. As the finale, everyone is invited to experience the tap phenomena themselves at “Tap It Out” when more than 100 dancers take to Granville Street on Sunday, August 31st!

Tap brings out my inner dancer. I feel good when I see it and after as well.
My daughter first saw tapping at 4. She begged me for 2 years to take lessons. She is now 16 still tapping and still loving it. We find it energizing & inspirational.
Watching someone tap just makes me break out into a huge grin. It’s hard not to be happy watching it.
