Calling all creative souls in Vancouver! VNB is hosting their 2nd annual photography exhibition to feature local young and emerging creators. From January 7 – February 8, artists and entrepreneurs can submit an application to get involved. If selected, winners will receive a pretty impressive promotional package: a VNB photo historical portrait (1-hour creative photoshoot with VNB using their adapted 8×10 large format calotype process), a feature in Vancouver is Awesome, inclusion in the main exhibition this summer, and an opportunity to host a short talk.

A jury made up of local arts and culture leaders will select 20 winners to showcase for this project. The selection will be based on entrepreneurial and creative achievements and potential, as well as contributions to the Vancouver creative and artistic community. Last year’s winners included Natasha Wells, Fashion Director at Aritzia, Joe Wai, Architect of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Garden, and Joseph Wu of Joseph Wu’s Origami.

VNB, Virginie Lamarche and Bastien Desfriches Doria, are a Vancouver-based photographic duo from France specializing in fine art editorial and documentary projects shot on film and analog processes. For full details, visit VNB’s website or email vnb@vnbphoto.com.
