Park Royal ushers in the holiday festive season with the annual Light Up The Village event on Friday, November 14 between 5:30 and 7:30pm. The event is free and everyone’s invited!
More than 100,000 dazzling lights will be illuminated during a countdown ceremony in the centre of The Village at Park Royal in Keeper’s Crossing, along with an array of seasonal activities and complimentary treats. Highlights include:
- Photo opportunity with the costumed characters from Goh Ballet’s critically acclaimed production of The Nutcracker
- Holiday cookie decorating by Whole Foods Market
- Face-painting and fun by Santa’s elves
- Hot cocoa by Village Taphouse
- Teas by David’s Tea
- Ross Curran’s Jazz Trio
- Singing Trio: Noel
- Cool wristband giveaway
- Countdown takes place at 7:00pm sharp
And be sure to return on Saturday morning, November 15, to welcome Santa when he arrives at Park Royal South. The first 100 children to visit with Santa will go home with a Roger’s Chocolates advent calendar. There will be a dance performance and complimentary face painting until 1:00 PM. Santa’s hours on Saturday are 11:00am-2:00pm & 2:30-5:00pm.
